Flying Jacob (Swedish: Flygande Jacob) is a Swedish casserole based on chicken with bananas, peanuts and bacon, covered with whipped cream laced with hot sauce and cooked in the oven. In checking the supplies I realised there were no bananas… No bananas? NO BANANAS?!? So asparagus it was, and a bloody fantastic concoction it is, if I may say so.
